Once treatment is complete, you’ll receive upper and lower removable retainers, as well as a fixed lower retainer based on the doctor’s recommendation. About 90% of your correction can be retained with proper retainer wear. We recommend retainers be worn full time for the first few months until your first retainer check with the doctor. After this period of time, we encourage our patients to wear retainers at night time indefinitely to protect their investment.
